I Love Kids and I Love Learning!

I began my career in Broadcast Journalism & Radio. After 7 years in the field, I discovered a desire to teach children after working with youth in the community. I've taught Kindergarten through Middle school, and Special Education students. It is a great joy to teach Kindergarten and be part of the Kindergarten team, Lake Windward is truly is a special place to teach. I'm a native of Florida, but I've lived in many states. I'm glad to call Georgia home after 17 years. From oranges to peaches, "It's all sweet"!

I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! I love teaching and especially enjoy Kindergartners! This is my 12th year teaching at Lake Windward. Before teaching General Education Kindergarten, I taught Special Education for 7 years here at Lake Windward (5 of those years teaching Special Needs Kindergarten). I am a graduate of Presbyterian College where I received my degree in Special Education (K-8). I earned my Elementary Education certificate several years ago. Before teaching at LWE I taught at a private preschool. I have lived in Johns Creek for 20 years where I raised my family. My son got married this past spring and my daughter is a senior at The University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! I look forward to working with you this year to help your child succeed in school!
