STEM Lab Pumpkin Science

October 25, 2016

Fall is in full swing!

The children are settled in.

A day in the lab for our little scientists was surely a learning win.

The harvest has brought us pumpkins, which our scientists explored.

Our senses help us to learn and grow, of that, the children are sure.

How does it look? How does it feel? Let’s evaluate.

The concepts of size and weight; learning Science is Great!

Does it float? Does it sink? What do their little minds think?

Test our claims, experiment. Explain our thinking clearly.

Volunteers guide them to learn, for that we love them dearly.

The children learned small pumpkins float, like a boat upon the sea.

What about the bigger ones? Test it out and see!
